The illuminated nation of Gelatin presents a very hot sculpture .  gelatin and performers from all over the world help to keep the heat up. wood, glas ,  music and expressions of cracks and heat, energy profusion. A wood fired furnace in the Giardino delle Vergini (Arsenale)  has to be fed 24/7 to keep the temperature up.   A gigantic mountain of wood gets smaller during one week of performance and is transformed into hot air and ash. Peeping inside the furnace you see white heat. it burns your eyebrows from a distance. A mountain of broken glass is fed into the stove and pours out of it into blobs of hot liquid glass.  As the molten glass cool down it cracks again.  Broken glass is transformed into broken glass. The fragile sculpture grows and the mountain of wood shrinks.  it can never be moved as it falls to pieces when touched.  quotidian live with gelatin and friends goes on. sometimes being consumed by flames.
